Luis Scola explained that his adjustment to coming off the bench has been easier this season. NBA.com
The Scoop: Hampered last season by a sore shooting elbow, Scola is now comfortable and healthy. "It took me a little while to get used to (playing off the bench)," he said. "When you have a consistent role you get to know what your team is going to do and they know how you play and you know when you're going to get into the game and how many minutes you play," he added. Scola got some run with the starters early this year when David West (ankle) was out, and it's benefiting him nicely now. In unrelated news, Scola had a red welt on his knee after Sunday's win, but it's not expected to be an issue.
