The Scoop: "My job is to find him a role because he makes shots, he blocks shots, he gets in our defensive coverage, he's athletic," Brooks said. "He's done some good things for us the last two or three months, he deserves to stay in." Smith has played slightly over 20 minutes per game since Mahinmi returned on Feb. 8, but that number could take another hit once Mahinmi's playing time restrictions are lifted. He's strictly a deep-league asset until further notice.
