Gerald Green started in place of Luol Deng (hamstring) on Wednesday, scoring 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting in 38 minutes of action.
The Scoop: He made two 3-pointers with five rebounds, one assist, one block and three turnovers in Miami's road loss, and his inefficient shooting didn't help matters. Deng said recently that the Heat are playing it safe to prevent his hamstring injury from lingering, so there's a chance he'll also sit out vs. the Knicks on Friday. Given the temporary nature of his promotion, Green is best suited for DFS play.
