The Scoop: This was the expected move, as Fournier was not expected to be a part of Pistons' future plans at his price tag. The veteran wing was on the outside looking in on the Knicks' rotation last season before being dealt to Detroit prior to the deadline. He then averaged 7.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 triples across 18.7 minutes in 29 games with the team. It remains to be seen what type of opportunities will come his way in free agency.

 The Scoop: A shoulder injury in February led to a premature ending to Richardson's season, but he was a rotational player prior to the injury. Overall, he averaged 9.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.5 triples across 25.7 minutes in 43 games. The veteran wing will look to earn a similar role for the Heat in the upcoming season.

 The Scoop: Nance averaged 5.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 19.9 minutes across 61 bench appearances for the Pelicans in 2023-24. His role in Atlanta is unclear, as Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu will likely both feature ahead of him in the frontcourt rotation. Regardless, Nance has displayed versatility on the defensive end as well as an improved outside shot, converting 41.5 percent of 1.1 three-point attempts per contest last season.

 The Scoop: Curry was traded from the Mavericks to the Hornets during the 2023-24 campaign but had his season cut short due to a right ankle sprain. Across his 43 appearances for Dallas and Charlotte, Curry averaged 5.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 14.3 minutes. While Curry will head into the offseason as a free agent, there is reported interest from both the Hornets and the 32-year-old guard to sign a new deal.

 The Scoop: Tucker was traded from the 76ers to the Clippers during the 2023-24 campaign. With Los Angeles, Tucker made 28 appearances, including seven starts, and averaged 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15.0 minutes. While the veteran forward is unlikely to receive a large role for the Clippers next season, he is set to stick around for at least one more year.

 The Scoop: Per Smith, the Warriors are actively trying to trade Wiggins to clear up cap room, presumably to acquire Paul George, and they don't want Wiggins to get hurt playing in the Olympics. John Hollinger of The Athletic relays there could also be an already existing injury for Wiggins, but nothing has been reported. Wiggins missed 11 games during the 2023-24 season, including back-to-back absences at the beginning of April due to a sprained ankle.

 The Scoop: If the Warriors guaranteed Paul's contract for 2024-25, the veteran would earn $30 million next season. Golden State can't afford that price and doesn't want to lose Paul in free agency for nothing, while the point guard likely agreed to this so he'd get a say in where he's potentially traded. Wojnarowski relays that the Warriors are still exploring trades, but what type of market Paul has at this point in his career remains unclear. He averaged a career-low 9.2 points per game in 2023-24.

 The Scoop: An undrafted point guard out of Georgia Tech, Alvarado has solidified himself as the Pelicans' top backup point guard over the last three seasons and will likely maintain that role next season. Last season, Alvarado averaged 7.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 18.4 minutes per game across 56 appearances.

 The Scoop: Hardaway was a consistent contributor for Dallas over the past five seasons, and he maintained his production during the 2023-24 campaign despite coming off the bench in most appearances. Over 79 regular-season appearances last year, he averaged 14.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in 26.8 minutes per game, but his role decreased once the playoffs began. Hardaway should be able to carve out a decent role on the wing with the Pistons after Dallas elected to move on from him, largely to clear some cap space.

 The Scoop: Denver is effectively salary-dumping the veteran guard to Charlotte to create financial flexibility. It's possible the Hornets will attempt to ship Jackson off elsewhere, though he would add a veteran presence to a team looking to transition from rebuilding to being competitive. If he remains with Charlotte, Jackson will compete for backup guard minutes.
