 The Scoop: Butler exited Tuesday's win over the Suns and didn't return due to a back issue. After the game, head coach Steve Kerr let it be known that Butler is considered questionable for the second game of a back-to-back set Wednesday.

 The Scoop: Alvarado was back to his best Tuesday, delivering easily his best performance of the season. After failing to score more than five points in each of the first five games, an 18-point performance was just what the doctor ordered. We have seen games like this from Alvarado in the past, making him someone to at least keep an eye on moving forward. With that said, managers are within their rights to be skeptical, given that these performances are often outliers when viewed as part of the bigger picture.

 The Scoop: Curry is currently under the weather and won't suit up in the second leg of Golden State's back-to-back set. However, he still finished Tuesday's victory with 28 points (9-23 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 34 minutes. With the superstar point guard sidelined, Brandin Podziemski, Gary Payton and Will Richard are candidates for increased minutes. Curry's next chance to play will come Friday against the Nuggets.

 The Scoop: Dort collided with Ivica Zubac on a screen, which resulted in the injury. He logged 15 minutes before making his way to the locker room, racking up six points and three rebounds.

 The Scoop: Risacher ended with a season-high 21 points, tallying double digits for just the third time this season. Outside of some scoring bumps, it's been a relatively underwhelming start for Risacher, averaging 11.3 points per game, adding 2.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 23.5 minutes. Despite starting, his role is more like that of a sixth or seventh man, making him a tough sell in standard formats.

 The Scoop: Butler shed his questionable tag due to lower back soreness and suited up Tuesday, though he was unable to return for the second half. He'll finish with two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes. Moses Moody and Buddy Hield are candidates for increased playing time with Butler sidelined, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the Kings.

 The Scoop: Da Silva scored double digits for the third time in the past four games, ending with a season-best 20 points. Desmond Bane was ejected, giving da Silva some added responsibility on the offensive end. While his production has been somewhat surprising, it does seem unsustainable given that he has played around 22 minutes per contest.

 The Scoop: Vucevic continues to anchor Chicago's frontcourt, posting a double-double for the fifth time in seven appearances this season. The big man is as consistent as they come at the center position, and he's been meshing well with Josh Giddey of late, with both players managing to produce at a high level. Expect Vucevic to remain a reliable provider of points and rebounds as long as he remains with the Bulls.

 The Scoop: Batum will be in the first five due to Kawhi Leonard being ruled out for rest purposes. Batum will be joined by James Harden, Kris Dunn, Derrick Jones and Ivica Zubac in the starting lineup.
