Officially active
Davis (back) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 2 against Denver, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

The Scoop: Davis was labeled as probable for Monday's matchup due to low back soreness, and he's since been given the green light to suit up. He'll need another big performance in Game 2 for LA to even the series.

Gets green light
James (ankle) will play in Monday's Game 2 against the Nuggets, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

The Scoop: James was initially added to the team's injury report as probable, so this update was expected. He'll need to be a key piece of the puzzle again in Game 2 for the Lakers to have a chance to steal a win on the road.

Game-time call for Game 2
Leonard (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Mavericks, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: Leonard took part in Monday's practice, and while it was reported to be a non-contact session, it appears all went well. The team will likely re-assess the star forward in the morning and see how he fares in shootaround and pregame warmups before making a decision on his availability for Game 2.

Set to practice Monday
Leonard (knee) will participate in the Clippers' practice session Monday, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

The Scoop: While it's encouraging that Leonard will practice Monday after missing Sunday's Game 1 against Dallas, the Clippers won't be doing contact during the session and will treat it more like a walkthrough, per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com. The team will monitor the 32-year-old ahead of Tuesday's Game 2, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Leonard labeled as a game-time decision.

Pulls down 20 boards in loss Sunday
Valanciunas registered 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 20 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Valanciunas was heavily criticized for his play during the loss to the Lakers in the first round of the Play-In Tournament, but he's responded extremely well with back-to-back double-doubles against the Kings and Thunder. The veteran big man feasted on the glass against Chet Holmgren and used his physicality to dominate. Expect him to play a prominent role in the paint in Game 2 on Wednesday, especially with Zion Williamson (hamstring) still sidelined.

Vintage performance Sunday
Middleton had 23 points (9-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block across 35 minutes during Sunday's 109-94 win over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Middleton turned back the clock in the win, shouldering the bulk of the scoring during the second half. After Damian Lillard took over in the first half, it was Middleton who made several clutch shots to secure the victory. Milwaukee will need him to maintain his aggression as they look to negate the loss of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf).

Catches fire in Game 1 victory
Lillard finished with 35 points (11-24 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's 109-94 victory over Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Lillard scored all of his team-high 35 points in the first half, the most ever through two quarters by a Bucks player in playoff history. Although he failed to score in the second half, the damage was done, leading his team to an emphatic Game 1 victory. With Giannis Antetokounmpo likely to miss at least another game, Lillard will need to come out firing again Tuesday if the Bucks are to secure a 2-0 series lead.

Strong from deep in 20-point game
George registered 22 points (8-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Sunday's 109-97 win over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: George had a strong performance from deep in Sunday's Game 1 victory, connecting on a quartet of threes while ending second on the team in scoring and as one of three Clippers with 20 or more points in a winning effort. George, who also hauled in a half-dozen rebounds, concluded the regular season by scoring at least 20 points in six of his final 10 outings. George and teammate James Harden will continue to function as the top offensive options for the Clippers if Kawhi Leonard (knee) misses additional time.

Nears 30 points as top scorer
Harden recorded 28 points (8-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and two blocks over 39 minutes during Sunday's 109-97 victory over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Harden returned for the start of the postseason after missing the Clippers' regular-season finale with a right foot inflammation and went on to lead all players in threes made and assists in a near-30-point double-double in a winning effort. Harden posted at least 28 points in six games during the regular season, adding eight or more assists in each of those outings. Sunday marked his fifth game of the year, both regular season and postseason, with six or more threes made.

Strong from deep in 30-point outing
Irving ended with 31 points (10-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals over 39 minutes during Sunday's 109-97 loss to the Clippers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Irving entered the postseason well-rested after sitting the final two games of the regular season, and while both he and Luka Doncic (33 points) had strong offensive showings, it wasn't enough to propel the Mavs over the Kawhi Leonard-less Clippers. Irving finishing with at least 30 points in 13 outings during the regular season, entering the playoffs with three or more threes in eight of his final 10 contests.
