Iffy for Game 3
Wade (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's Game 3 against the Celtics.

The Scoop: Wade hasn't played since March 8 due to a right knee sprain. If Wade is upgraded to available, it remains to be seen how he will be featured in Cleveland's playoff rotation.

Still out for Game 2
Prosper (ankle) will remain out for Thursday's Game 2 matchup with the Thunder.

The Scoop: Prosper has seen action in just one postseason game to date, making a one-minute cameo in garbage time of the Mavericks' Game 1 win over the Clippers in the first round. He hasn't played since due to a left ankle sprain, but the rookie wouldn't be included in head coach Jason Kidd's rotation even if he were healthy.

Handed four-game suspension
The NBA announced Thursday that Beverley has been suspended four games "for forcefully throwing a basketball multiple times at spectators and an inappropriate interaction with a reporter during media availability" after Milwaukee's 120-98 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of their first-round playoff series May 2.

The Scoop: The Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs with the Game 6 loss, so Beverley's suspension will go into effect for the first four games of the 2024-25 season. Beverley is an unrestricted free agent going into this offseason, so it is unclear which team he will be on when serving his suspension.

Drains three triples Wednesday
Sheppard chipped in 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt) and one assist over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 130-121 loss to New York in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Scoop: Sheppard continues to play meaningful minutes for the Pacers, connecting on three triples en route to 11 points. While the Pacers ended with six players logging double-digit scoring, it was still not enough to get over the hump in front of a vocal New York crowd. Sheppard should continue to serve as a three-point threat off the bench.

Won't play Thursday
Wade (knee) won't suit up for Thursday's Game 2 matchup with Boston.

The Scoop: Wade has been out of commission for two months now, and with no positive updates to speak of, it's safe to assume he's still not close.

Closes Game 1 loss
Lawson closed with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound in five minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

The Scoop: Lawson played five minutes of garbage time as the Mavericks were dismantled by the Thunder down the stretch. Dallas will attempt to reverse the result in Game 2 on Thursday, hoping to head home with the series locked at 1-1.

Brings home ROY honors
Wembanyama (ankle) was named the 2023-24 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: Wembanyama was the clear favorite for this year's Rookie of the Year honors, averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.6 blocks in 29.7 minutes per appearance over 71 games during his first NBA campaign. It's also worth noting that the 7-foot-4 center is one of three finalists for the 2023-24 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, which speaks to the monumental impact he had on both ends of the court this season for the Spurs.
