Kornet (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: Kornet will miss a fifth consecutive game with a sprained left ankle. The veteran big man has no timetable for a return ahead of Friday's clash with the Rockets. Until Kelly Olynyk (heel) is cleared for his season debut, Bismack Biyombo should continue to handle the backup center role behind Victor Wembanyama.

Dort (illness) participated in Tuesday's morning shootaround, per Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman.
The Scoop: Dort's presence at the session bodes well for his chances of suiting up Tuesday against the Clippers. With Jalen Williams (wrist) on the mend, Dort should continue to soak up heavy minutes when healthy.

McCain (thumb) will make his season debut Tuesday against the Bulls, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
The Scoop: After undergoing surgery in late September to repair a torn UCL in his right thumb, McCain is set to make his grand return to the rotation. It's worth mentioning that Tuesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so it will be interesting to see how the team handles his minutes. Once he gets his legs under him, McCain will likely have a significant role in the offense behind Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.

Collier (hamstring) was available for Monday's 105-103 win over the Celtics but didn't play in a coach's decision.
The Scoop: Head coach Will Hardy wasn't forthcoming before the game about Collier's role, and it turns out the point guard wasn't given a role at all. Keyonte George is in the midst of a breakout campaign, and rookie Walter Clayton has looked solid as a backup point guard. Collier will presumably get in the rotation sooner rather than later, but he doesn't appear likely to move back up to the top unit in the near future after making 46 starts as a rookie last season.

Cisse produced four points (2-4 FG), two rebounds, one block and one steal over 14 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to Houston.
The Scoop: Cisse made just his second appearance of the season after signing a two-way deal with the Mavericks, and notched his first points. He also displayed his defensive capabilities, recording a steal and a block in only 14 minutes. With Anthony Davis (calf) and Dereck Lively (knee) out for the time being, Cisse may continue to see minutes backing up Daniel Gafford until one of the aforementioned big men return.

Marshall totaled nine points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 22 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to Houston.
The Scoop: Marshall currently sees a consistent 22-25 minutes off the bench and averages 7.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals. With Dereck Lively (knee) and Anthony Davis (calf) out, Marshall may continue to play in that minutes range, but once one or both return, those minutes may dwindle to accommodate Dallas' starters.

Cissoko totaled five points (2-2 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 14 minutes during Monday's 123-115 loss to the Lakers.
The Scoop: With Blake Wesley suffering a fifth metatarsal fracture in his right foot, Cissoko is the next man up for Portland, at least while Scoot Henderson (hamstring) is out. Cissoko has just 36 career regular-season games under his belt, but he made a strong impression on the coaching staff Monday and could be worth monitoring in very deep formats.

Clingan closed with two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and one block over 18 minutes during Monday's 123-115 loss to the Lakers.
The Scoop: This was Clingan's worst performance of the season, though he has been pretty solid overall. Through seven games, Clingan holds averages of 8.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks in 24.5 minutes per contest. It's worth mentioning that Robert Williams looked really strong in his 16 minutes Monday, so that could put some pressure on Clingan.

Lopez totaled five points (2-7 FG, 1-6 3Pt), one rebound and one steal over 15 minutes during Monday's 120-119 loss to the Heat.
The Scoop: With Ivica Zubac locked into massive workloads as the featured player in the frontcourt, there isn't much room for Lopez to provide fantasy value. Through six games, he's seeing 16.0 minutes per contest with 6.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.5 three-pointers.

The Kings will waive Jones on Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The Scoop: The second-year center will be forced to give up his roster spot with the Kings agreeing to a deal with Precious Achiuwa. Jones was a standout during the Summer League, but he wasn't able to crack Sacramento's rotation. He's likely to draw interest on the open market.
