The Scoop: Cisse played his first game since December 15, moving into the rotation following a groin injury to Anthony Davis. Although Cisse has been thereabouts thus far this season, he has yet to carve out a consistent role. If and when the Mavericks opt to change things up, keep an eye on Cisse, just in case he shifts into a meaningful role, much like Adem Bona did for the 76ers last season.

 The Scoop: Tyson registered his fourth double-double of the season, and he set a career high in rebounds. The second-year wing paced Cleveland in points and field goal attempts. Eight of his 15 rebounds came on the offensive end. On the year, Tyson is averaging 13.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals across 27.6 minutes per game this season.

 The Scoop: Durant turned back the clock with an efficient performance, and he carried the Rockets to a comfortable 17-point win over the Cavaliers. This was Durant's third game with 30 or more points across his last six outings, and it'd be fair to say he's going through his most prolific stretch of the campaign. Durant is also on a run of seven straight games with 20-plus points, averaging 27.0 points per game in that span.

 The Scoop: Paolo Banchero didn't have his best game and was limited to 12 points on 6-for-13 shooting, but Black stepped up for the Magic and delivered a career-best scoring mark in this tight one-point victory. Black has been on a tear of late and has reached the 20-point mark in five of his previous six outings, a stretch in which he's averaging 24.1 points per game.

 The Scoop: Wembanyama's 28 minutes played were his most since returning from a 12-game absence Dec. 13. He hit the five-block milestone for the fifth time this season, and scored at least 30 points for the fifth time in 2025-26. Now back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in six straight games, Wembanyama will likely still have his minutes monitored moving forward, but it looks like the Spurs are slowly easing him into a larger role.

 The Scoop: Gillespie had a well-rounded performance in this matchup, and he finished just three boards and three assists away from recording what would've been his first triple-double of the campaign. Gillespie has scored over 15 points in five games in a row and should remain a valuable fantasy asset as long as he can continue to score at this rate.

 The Scoop: Alvarado got upset with Williams over a tough screen and both players quickly exchanged punches, with Alvarado landing one on Williams before the scuffle was stopped by several players who surrounded it. Alvarado posted seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three assists and two steals across 14 minutes off the bench.

 The Scoop: Dennis will lose his two-way contract, as the Clippers will waive him to make room for TyTy Washington. Since latching on with the Clippers on Dec. 3, Dennis appeared in just one NBA game, logging two rebounds and a turnover across four minutes.

 The Scoop: Westbrook's nine assists were enough to push him into seventh place in all-time assists, passing Magic Johnson. The veteran guard tied for the team high in points, eclipsing the 20-point mark for the fourth time in five games. Since moving into the starting lineup Nov. 12, Westbrook is averaging 14.5 points, 7.9 assists,7.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals across 29.9 minutes per game.

 The Scoop: Timme hasn't appeared in a game for the Lakers since Dec. 5, and he may be inactive for Sunday's matchup with Sacramento due to a concussion. With Jaxson Hayes (ankle) listed as doubtful, Timme could be a step closer to playing time if available Sunday.
