Gets hot late in victory
Irving finished with 21 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Despite a sluggish start to the game, Irving delivered when it mattered, helping the Mavericks to an emphatic victory. Both he and Luka Doncic are at the peak of their powers at the moment. A repeat performance in Game 4 will see Dallas on the cusp of an impressive first-round victory.

Woeful in Game 3 loss
George racked up seven points (3-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists across 30 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: George was non-existent in the loss, putting up his worst performance in quite some time. The Clippers managed to hang around but were never really in the contest. George is going to have to be much better when the two teams line up again Sunday if the Clippers hope to return home with the series tied up.

Ejected in fourth quarter
Westbrook was ejected from Saturday's 101-90 Game 3 loss to the Mavericks with 6:10 to play in the fourth quarter. He finished with one point (0-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 19 minutes.

The Scoop: Westbrook let his frustrations get the best of him in this one. He was already carrying a technical foul when he proceeded to shove both Luka Doncic and P.J. Washington on the same play. Despite his outburst, a suspension is unlikely.

Starting Game 3
O'Neale will start Friday's Game versus the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

The Scoop: Grayson Allen (ankle) will sit out Game 3, but he's considered day-to-day and could be back for Game 4 on Sunday. In 14 starts during the regular season, O'Neale averaged 10.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.9 three-pointers.

Available to play
Anderson (hip) is available for Friday's Game 3 versus the Suns, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

The Scoop: Fantasy managers should exercise caution before plugging Anderson into lineups, as the forward didn't touch the floor despite being cleared to play in Game 2. It remains to be seen if he'll rejoin the rotation for Game 3.

Shines with 40-point double-double
Middleton recorded 42 points (16-29 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and five assists over 41 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Middleton did all he could to help lead Milwaukee to an overtime victory, including hitting the game-tying shot at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime and also tying the game late in overtime, but his 40-point double-double was spoiled in a losing effort. Middleton led all players in Friday's contest in scoring while ending as one of two Bucks with 10 or more rebounds to go along with a handful of assists in a well-rounded outing. If Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) remains out for Game 4, look for Middleton to continue to provide a lift to Milwaukee offensively.

Nears 30 points despite injury
Lillard posted 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Despite leaving Friday's game briefly with a knee injury, Lillard finished the Game 3 contest and led all Bucks players in assists while ending two points shy of the 30-point mark to provide a boost offensively in a losing effort. Lillard, who was perfect from the free-throw line to go along with a team-high-tying mark from three, has posted at least 28 points in all three games of the first round. It will be worth monitoring Lillard's status ahead of Game 4 given his brief exit Friday.

Listed as probable for Game 4
James (ankle) is probable for Saturday's Game 4 versus Denver, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Scoop: James carrying probable tags due to left ankle soreness is par for the course. Fantasy managers should expect him to suit up with Los Angeles' season on the line, as the Lakers are winless through three games in the series.

Iffy for Game 4
Davis is questionable for Saturday's Game 4 versus Denver due to a left wrist sprain, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Scoop: Davis has been a regular on the injury report, but this is a new issue. Previously, Davis was battling a back injury and some soreness in both heels. He seemed fine in Game 3, however, as he produced 33 points (14-23 FG, 5-7 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 43 minutes.

Good to go for Game 3
Leonard (knee) is available for Friday's Game 3 against the Mavericks, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

The Scoop: After missing Sunday's Game 1 win due to knee inflammation, Leonard returned for Game 2 on Tuesday and put up 15 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two assists and a block in 35 minutes during a 96-93 loss, marking his first appearance since March 31. With the series tied at 1-1, Leonard's health and impact will be key to the Clippers' success. Despite suiting up for back-to-back games, the questionable tag may stick with Leonard for the rest of the postseason.
