Limited impact in loss to LAL
Durant notched 18 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 loss to the Lakers.

The Scoop: Durant delivered an efficient shooting performance, but he wasn't as involved as he had been in previous games -- the 11 field-goal attempts were his third-lowest mark since the beginning of February. Durant has always been an efficient shooter and a reliable offensive weapon, so he should be able to turn things around rather quickly as soon as he gets as involved as he usually is on offense. Having said that, the fact that Durant has failed to reach the 20-point mark in three of his past four outings should be considered slightly worrisome at least.

Records another double-double
Thompson had 26 points (11-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 loss to the Lakers.

The Scoop: This was Thompson's third consecutive double-double, and the second over that span in which he surpassed the 20-point plateau. The versatile guard, who has adjusted well to life as the Rockets' starting point guard in the absence of Fred VanVleet (knee), has been excellent on offense of late and has scored in double digits in each of his last 10 games, averaging 21.6 points per game over that stretch.

Turns back time in win
James ended with 30 points (13-14 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 win over Houston.

The Scoop: James reached the 30-point threshold for the first time since Jan. 13, and this was just the fifth time he scored at least 30 points in a game all season long. However, what's even more impressive about his stat line is the fact that he missed just one shot and one free throw. The Lakers will continue to operate with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves as their 1-2 scoring punch, but they're virtually unstoppable if James performs like this as the No. 3 option on offense.

Scores 14 and hands out eight dimes
Reaves produced 14 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one block over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 victory over the Rockets.

The Scoop: Reaves has failed to surpass the 15-point mark in his last two appearances, and this comes right after a three-game stretch between March 10 and March 14 in which he reached the 30-point threshold each time. Reaves typically has the usage rate of a No. 2 option, but he was clearly the No. 3 in this game since the Lakers rode the hot hands of Luka Doncic and LeBron James, who combined for 70 points. Fantasy managers shouldn't be worried about Reaves, however, as he'll remain a top offensive weapon on a red-hot Lakers team going forward.

Erupts for 41 points
Sensabaugh generated 41 points (17-31 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 37 minutes of Wednesday's 147-111 loss to Minnesota.

The Scoop: The blowout loss didn't prevent Sensabaugh from a big points total, as the score-first wing hit the 40-point milestone for the second time in his career (both this season). Sensabaugh accounted for nearly 37 percent of Utah's points and exactly one-third of the team's shot attempts. With several key contributors sidelined due to injury, Sensabaugh looks to have the ultimate green light. In his last 14 games, Sensabaugh is averaging 20.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 26.5 minutes.

Scores season-high 28 points
Clingan generated 28 points (10-19 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 25 minutes of Wednesday's 127-119 win over Indiana.

The Scoop: Clingan topped his previous season high in points of 24 despite playing merely 25 minutes. The second-year center also hit three three-pointers for just the seventh time this season. He's now double-doubled in five consecutive games, averaging 17.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.8 blocks and 1.0 steals across 27.7 minutes during that stretch.

Team's leading scorer in loss
Wilson logged 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and five rebounds over 19 minutes during the Nets' 121-92 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday.

The Scoop: The Nets tied a franchise record for the lowest first-half scoring total with 24 points, and with the Thunder leading by as many as 42 points, that led to both teams leaning on their reserves more. Wilson scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half and ended up leading Brooklyn in that category. He was a healthy DNP in each of his two outings prior to Wednesday's loss, but he could see more minutes if Noah Clowney (wrist) were to miss time.

Gets extended run in second half
Johnson recorded 12 points (5-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal over 27 minutes during the Nets' 121-92 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday.

The Scoop: The Thunder led by as many as 42 points during Wednesday's game, which prompted both teams to empty the bench in the fourth quarter. That gave Johnson the opportunity for an extended run, and the undrafted rookie out of Auburn capitalized by scoring 10 points in the second half while connecting on all four of his field-goal attempts. He has scored in double digits in back-to-back games and could see more playing time moving forward if Noah Clowney were to miss time, as the latter left in the first quarter of Wednesday's game due to a right wrist sprain.

Leads OKC off bench
McCain posted 26 points (9-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 28 minutes during the Thunder's 121-92 win over the Nets on Wednesday.

The Scoop: The Thunder led by as much as 42 points during Wednesday's blowout win, which resulted in McCain and the rest of the reserves seeing more time in the second half. The second-year pro took advantage of the extra court time, scoring a season-high 26 points, which was his highest scoring output since Nov. 22, 2024 as a member of the 76ers, when he scored 30 points (also against the Nets). McCain has been a steady presence off the bench for the Thunder since he was acquired from the 76ers in early February. He'll have opportunities to serve in an expanded role in games for which Oklahoma City is down players, as was the case Wednesday with Luguentz Dort (rest) and Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) both unavailable.

Struggles with shot in loss
Podziemski ended Wednesday's 120-99 loss to the Celtics with 10 points (1-8 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-10 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 28 minutes.

The Scoop: Podziemski couldn't get his shot to drop and finished with a minus-11 plus/minus rating in the blowout loss. The Warriors have now dropped six of their past seven games, and it'll be tough for them to right the ship Friday with a matchup against the 48-18 Pistons.
