On a more positive note, the 29-year-old big man tied the game-high mark in blocks and has recorded eight swats over his last two appearances. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) expected to miss an extended period, the Bucks will need Turner to continue stepping up on the offensive end.

 The Scoop: Embiid was unable to extend his streak of 30-plus-point performances to five, though he put together a solid stat line. The star big man finished as Philadelphia's second-leading scorer, and he has now reached the 20-point threshold in 17 consecutive contests. He also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and has recorded at least nine boards in four straight games. During that span, he has averaged 32.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists across 36.0 minutes per contest.

 The Scoop: McCain made his second appearance following a five-game span in which he logged just one minute, and he impressed in the second half of this back-to-back set. After scoring 16 points in Monday's loss to Charlotte, the second-year guard chipped in 17 points Tuesday, leading the bench in scoring. He set a new season-high mark in triples and has knocked down at least four in back-to-back outings. While he isn't guaranteed significant playing time on a nightly basis, performances like these bode well for him moving forward.

 The Scoop: After scoring a season-low six points on 3-of-12 shooting from the field in Monday's blowout loss to Charlotte, Maxey bounced back in the second leg of this back-to-back set. While he struggled with efficiency from beyond the arc yet again, the star point guard finished as Philadelphia's third-leading scorer and reached the 20-point threshold for the 13th time in 15 January appearances. He also dished out a game-high nine assists.

 The Scoop: Things boiled over after the buzzer Tuesday, as Dort got into a brief shoving match with Pelicans guard Jeremiah Fears that required separation. While no punches were thrown, Dort appeared to instigate and escalate the situation by putting his hands on Fears and grabbing at the rookie's jersey. It's possible that Dort could face disciplinary action from the league for his role in Tuesday's altercation.

 The Scoop: Holmgren didn't register any defensive stats during Sunday's loss to the Raptors, but he made a defensive impact early in Tuesday's game, stuffing Saddiq Bey at the rim on the Pelicans' second possession. Holmgren has scored at least 20 points in three of his past five appearances, and he has multiple blocks in three of those outings.

 The Scoop: Gilgeous-Alexander got off to a rough start Tuesday, putting up six straight bricks to begin the game, but he found his rhythm after some trips to the line and got hot after halftime. This was Gilgeous-Alexander's first game without any defensive statistics since Jan. 4, but fantasy managers can expect that to change Thursday in Minnesota.

 The Scoop: Williamson got off to a slow start, heading into halftime with just six points on four shots, but he flipped the switch in the second half. He scored 15 of his 21 points after the break on an ultra-efficient 6-for-7 shooting line. The outing marked Williamson's third straight 20/10 double-double and his first perfect night at the charity stripe since Dec. 22.
