 The Scoop: Mitchell, who entered Game 3 converting 85.5 percent of his free-throw attempts, wound up missing four of his six shots at the line Saturday night in another deflating loss to the Knicks. The Cavs are now staring at a 0-3 hole in the Eastern Conference Finals, a deficit no team in NBA history has ever overcome.

 The Scoop: Bridges scored efficiently, racked up five stocks and was a plus-19 in the 13-point victory. The 29-year-old forward has been on a tear through the first three games of this series, averaging 19.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 three-pointers, 2.0 steals and 0.7 swats per game on 71/50/100 shooting splits.

 The Scoop: Hart matched his postseason career high in swipes, and he was a big reason New York outscored Cleveland 17-4 in fast break points. The Knicks are now just one win away from their first Finals appearance in 27 years.

 The Scoop: Despite missing all four of his three-point attempts, Brunson led the Knicks in scoring, and he finished with a plus-15 differential in the win. The Knicks have gone on a month-long winning streak this postseason and are now just the 10th team in NBA history to win 10 straight playoff games. Of the previous nine teams to accomplish this feat, five went on to take home the Larry O'Brien trophy.

 The Scoop: Fox missed the first two games of the series because of a nagging high-ankle sprain. The 28-year-old returned for Game 3 on Friday, although he was forced to briefly exit the contest after aggravating the injury. While most assumed Fox would carry some kind of injury designation ahead of Game 4, that's not the case, so it appears he will be out there unless he suffers a setback.

 The Scoop: Fox missed the first two games of the series due to a right ankle sprain but returned for Friday's Game 3 loss. Although he appeared to aggravate the ankle injury in the third quarter before briefly exiting the game, the star guard appears likely to play in Sunday's pivotal Game 4 as the Spurs attempt to avoid a 3-1 series deficit. He provided 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal across 31 minutes in Game 3.

 The Scoop: Castle turned in an abysmal shooting performance, though he got to the charity stripe often and still finished as San Antonio's fourth-leading scorer. He also paced the team in assists and committed just one turnover after logging 20 giveaways in the first two games of the series. Through three third-round appearances, he's averaging 18.7 points, 8.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 combined steals-plus-blocks in 40.7 minutes per contest.

 The Scoop: While Dort has had a muted impact on the offensive end throughout the postseason, he failed to score for the first time in the 2026 playoffs. The defensive-minded swingman logged a series-high 23 minutes Friday, but given the strong play of Jared McCain and Cason Wallace, Dort could continue seeing a reduced role, especially if Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (undisclosed) are both available for Game 4.
