After a strong start to the season, Alexander-Walker has been thrust into a starting role following a knee injury to Trae Young. Through 10 games, he is averaging 17.2 points, 3.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 three-pointers in 30.0 minutes per game.

 The Scoop: Smith played a season-high 16 minutes, moving into the rotation after it was earlier announced that Detroit would be without a number of its starters due to various injuries. This performance should not be viewed as anything other than an outlier, given he has not even been in the rotation for the majority of the season.

 The Scoop: Robinson stepped up for the undermanned Pistons, scoring a season-high 23 points. Detroit was basically without its entire starting five, allowing Robinson to take on more offensive responsibility. It's been a steady start to the season for the sharp-shooter, averaging 12.3 points and 3.0 three-pointers across the first 12 games.

 The Scoop: Jenkins continued his fairytale run, leading the Pistons to an improbable victory. Fresh off a career-best performance earlier in the week, Jenkins moved into the starting lineup, replacing Cade Cunningham, who was ruled out due to a hip injury. Jenkins filled in admirably, dishing out 12 assists, ironically, the same amount he had dished out across his entire career up until Wednesday. Should Cunningham be forced to miss further time, Jenkins could make for a viable streaming consideration.

 The Scoop: Vucevic continues to struggle on the offensive end, having now shot under 40 percent from the floor in three straight games. After a hot start to the season, his overall production has regressed, averaging 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists over his past four appearances. He should be able to turn things around sooner rather than later, with his next opportunity coming on Sunday against the Jazz.

 The Scoop: Carter had arguably his best game in the past 12 months, an indication of how muted his role has become. Chicago was once again without Josh Giddey (ankle), allowing Cater to move into a somewhat meaningful role. While it was great to see the veteran holding his own, this is likely nothing more than an outlier, based on what we have seen from him in recent times.

 The Scoop: The Clippers had no answers for Jokic from the jump, as the superstar center scored 25 points in the first quarter. Per independent NBA writer Justin Russo, Jokic became the fourth player in NBA history to score at least 55 points in a game on a 90 percent true shooting percentage. It was Jokic's fourth career game with at least 50 points. In 11 appearances during 2025-26, Jokic is averaging 28.8 points, 13.1 rebounds, 10.9 assists and 1.8 steals across 33.9 minutes.

 The Scoop: Of Curry's 46 points, 22 came in the third quarter as part of an emphatic response to a letdown 11-point performance in his previous game. The 37-year-old has now topped the 40-point mark twice this season, with Wednesday's output being a season high. Curry's 15 made free throws tied for his second most in a game in his career and were his most since April of 2021. He's averaging 27.1 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 30.3 minutes per game this season.

 The Scoop: Johnson departed the game in the first half with a strained right arm, and he's been shut down for the rest of the night due to the injury. He will finish the contest with two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over eight minutes. Spencer Jones, Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway could each see more action the rest of the way. Johnson's next chance to play will come Saturday at Minnesota.

 The Scoop: Wembanyama notched his first triple-double of the campaign and the fourth of his career. He hadn't posted more than six assists in a contest in 2025-26 before Wednesday. The 21-year-old has scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games. On the year, Wembanyama is averaging 26.2 points, 13.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 3.6 blocks and 1.1 steals over 34.4 minutes per game.
