Game-time call for Friday
Allen (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's Play-In Tournament game against the Warriors.

The Scoop: Allen is in danger of missing a third straight matchup while dealing with hamstring soreness. He'll likely test the injury in shootaround and warmups to see if he can suit up for Friday's clash.

Listed questionable for Friday
Porzingis is questionable for Friday's Play-In Tournament game against the Suns due to right ankle soreness.

The Scoop: Anthony Slater of ESPN.com notes that Porzingis appeared to be favoring his ankle after Wednesday's win over the Clippers, so he seemingly picked up the injury at some point during the matchup. He'll presumably test the ankle during shootaround and warmups to see if he can take the court for Friday's must-win game.

Questionable for Friday
Isaac (knee) is questionable for Friday's Play-In Tournament game against the Hornets.

The Scoop: Isaac has missed over a month now due to a left knee sprain, but the Magic are leaving the door open for the forward to return in a must-win game Friday. If Isaac is ultimately deemed unable to play, Orlando would need Tristan da Silva and Jamal Cain to help fill out more playing time in the frontcourt.

Likely to miss start of playoffs
ESPN's Shams Charania reported Thursday on NBA Today that Embiid (abdomen) isn't expected to be available for the start of the playoffs.

The Scoop: Embiid is only one week removed from undergoing a successful appendectomy, so it's not overly surprising that the superstar big man is still recovering. The 76ers begin their first-round postseason series against the Celtics in Boston on Sunday, and they're likely bracing for Embiid to miss at least Game 1 and Game 2. Philadelphia figures to continue to take a hot-hand approach between Andre Drummond and Adem Bona at center in the interim.

Logs 15 minutes in loss
Miller logged five points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 126-121 Play-In Game loss to Golden State.

The Scoop: Miller was used sparingly in the final game of the season for Los Angeles. The Clippers signed him to a one-year deal back in February after her impressed on a two-way contract, and it includes a player option worth $2.5 million in 2026-27. Across 60 regular-season appearances, he averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 22.1 minutes per contest.

Fares well in loss
Dunn contributed seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, 10 assists and three steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 126-121 Play-In Game loss to the Warriors.

The Scoop: With Los Angeles' season coming to an end, Dunn will be able to hold his head high. He appeared in all 82 regular-season games with 68 starts, posting averages of 7.3 points, 3.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 three-pointers in 27.2 minutes per contest.

Removed from rotation
Carter (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Magic's 109-97 loss to the 76ers in the Play-In Tournament.

The Scoop: Carter had appeared in all 29 of the Magic's games following the All-Star break and averaged 7.4 points, 2.3 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 21.0 minutes, but he ended up being the odd man out Wednesday with head coach Jamahl Mosley cutting his rotation down to nine men for the playoff opener. With Jalen Suggs logging heavy minutes Wednesday as the Magic's starting point guard and with Franz Wagner and Anthony Black also beginning to see more playing time after having their minutes monitored carefully late in the regular season following their returns from extended absences, Carter will likely struggle to see the court for the duration of Orlando's playoff run.

Out of rotation in playoff opener
Edwards (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the 76ers' 109-97 win over the Magic in the Play-In Tournament.

The Scoop: Edwards had appeared in the 76ers' final five games of the regular season and averaged 5.0 points in 13.2 minutes, but he ended up being a casualty of head coach Nick Nurse tightening up his rotation for the start of the playoffs. Unless Philadelphia loses a key player to an injury during its first-round series with the Celtics, Edwards' appearances may be largely limited to garbage-time scenarios.

Out at least two more weeks
The Hawks announced Thursday that Landale (ankle) is progressing in his rehabilitation and will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks.

The Scoop: Landale missed the final five games of the regular season after suffering a right high-ankle sprain April 1, and his updated timeline for a re-evaluation essentially ensures that he'll remain out for the first round of the playoffs. In Landale's absence, the Hawks will rely on Mouhamed Gueye and Tony Bradley to fill backup minutes behind starting center Onyeka Okongwu.

Serviceable two-way performance
Lopez ended Wednesday's 126-121 Play-In Game loss to Golden State with 17 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 37 minutes.

The Scoop: Lopez ended his season with another serviceable performance, finishing what was a roller coaster campaign. Following the trade of Ivica Zubac, Lopez was thrust into a starting role, something that he was almost certainly not expecting coming into the season. While he was able to fill the role admirably, it is unlikely that the Clippers view him as a long-term solution. In 29 appearances over the final two months, Lopez averaged 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers in 27.5 minutes per game.
