Scores 20 points in Game 6 loss
Scores 20 points in Game 6 loss

The Scoop: Hield went scoreless in two of the first three games of the series and was a DNP-CD in Games 4 and 5, but he provided a lift with his scoring off the bench in Game 6, particularly when the Sixers were in a complicated spot during the second and third quarters. Hield struggled in the series, but this 20-point effort will be a reminder of what he can do when he's given a consistent role on offense, regardless if it's as a starter or off the bench.

39-point effort not enough Thursday
39-point effort not enough Thursday

The Scoop: Embiid was clearly not 100 percent healthy throughout the series, and the limitations were more noticeable as the series progressed, but he still posted outstanding stat lines, scoring 29 or more points in four of the six contests. He also recorded three double-doubles and a triple-double, but he couldn't do the heavylifting on his own in the games where Tyrese Maxey struggled. Between the Play-In win over the Heat and the first-round series against the Knicks, Embiid averaged 31.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.3 blocks across 41.0 minutes per game.

Leads offense in return in Game 6
Lillard tallied 28 points (7-16 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 10-10 FT), four assists and two rebounds over 35 minutes in Thursday's 120-98 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Lillard returned in Game 6 after missing the previous two games with an Achilles injury, doing all he could to help Milwaukee extend the series by leading all players in Thursday's series-ending contest in scoring and threes made while ending perfect from the free-throw line. Despite dealing with some injury issues during the first-round series against Indiana, Lillard posted 28 or more points in all four of his appearances while adding four or more threes in each of those contests.

Owns glass in season-ending loss
Portis ended with 20 points (8-17 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-7 FT), 15 rebounds and two assists over 36 minutes in Thursday's 120-98 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Portis once again dominated the glass for Milwaukee in a season-ending loss Thursday, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while ending as one of three Bucks with 20 or more points in a double-double outing. Portis stepped up nicely in the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) in the first-round series, posting a double-double in five of the six contests while surpassing the 20-point mark in the final two games against Indiana.

Held in check in Game 6 defeat
Middleton recorded 14 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 38 minutes in Thursday's 120-98 loss to Indiana in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Middleton led Milwaukee seemingly on a nightly basis over the course of the first-round series against Indiana, but he was held in check in the series-ending contest Thursday while failing to record 15 points for the only time in the series. Middleton, who dealt with some foul trouble that seemed to impact his performance and aggressiveness in the first half, put together a strong opening-round series, scoring 20 or more points in four of the six contests.

Stellar off bench in Game 6 win
McConnell tallied 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine assists, four steals and two rebounds over 23 minutes in Thursday's 120-98 win over Milwaukee in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: McConnell was outstanding off the Pacers bench in the series-clinching victory, ending second on the team in scoring and assists while leading all players in steals and coming up one dime shy of a double-double to provide a much-needed spark on the second unit. McConnell put forth his best performance of the postseason thus far, scoring more than 10 points for the first time while handing out his highest assist total of the first round. Indiana will look for McConnell to continue to provide a spark off the bench in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Available for Game 6
Embiid (knee) is available and starting in Game 6 against the Knicks on Thursday.

The Scoop: This is not a surprise considering the situation the 76ers are in, as Philadelphia must win this game to force a decisive Game 7. Embiid is averaging 31.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.2 steals per game in the first-round series against the Knicks.

Won't start Thursday
Beasley is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's Game 6 against the Pacers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.

The Scoop: Beasley will head to the bench with the return of Damian Lillard to the starting lineup. Beasley averaged 19.0 points per game in the two starts he has made in the series against the Pacers.

Officially deemed questionable
Harris (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Friday's Game 6 against the Cavaliers.

The Scoop: Harris was already deemed a game-time decision for Game 6, so his questionable injury label isn't surprising. If the 29-year-old guard is ruled out, Caleb Houstan, Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony and Anthony Black are all candidates to receive increased playing time.

Ruled out for Game 6
Leonard (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's Game 6 against Dallas, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.

The Scoop: Leonard continues to deal with a knee injury and will be unavailable for a third consecutive game Friday. If the Clippers win Friday's contest and force a Game 7, it's unclear whether Leonard would be available for that win-or-go-home matchup.
