However, he's already missed two games this season due to back soreness, so LA could elect to play it safe by holding him out. Another update on Beal's status should emerge closer to tipoff.

 The Scoop: Leonard took on a heavy workload Monday night, and with the star forward yet to play both legs of a back-to-back this year, the club will likely evaluate him Tuesday morning before commenting further on his availability. Coach Tyronn Lue also noted in his postgame presser that he was unsure of Bradley Beal's availability, meaning the Clippers could be short handed if a decision is made to sit both players down, likely opening up chances for Bogdan Bogdanovic, Kris Dunn and John Collins.

 The Scoop: Adams grabbed at least eight rebounds for the fifth time in the past six games, while also adding a season-high four combined steals and blocks. It appears as though Houston is going to continue to shuffle its rotation based on the opposition, making Adams a tough sell in standard leagues. With that said, he is doing enough on most nights to be considered an elite streaming option for anyone needing rebounds.

 The Scoop: Westbrook turned back the clock Monday by posting his best all-around showing of the young season. He notched his second straight double-double, this time by grabbing double-digit boards after dishing out 10 assists in his previous appearance Saturday in Milwaukee. Westbrook has also seen his workload increase steadily of late, logging 34 and 37 minutes to begin the month.

 The Scoop: Sheppard continues to play a limited role off the bench, having played fewer than 20 minutes in three straight games. Despite a strong preseason, it appears as though the coaching staff has little faith in him when it comes to running the offense. Across the first six games of the season, he is averaging 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.2 three-pointers in 20.6 minutes per contest.

 The Scoop: Jokic delivered an efficient performance from the field and recorded a game- and season-best mark in points. He has posted at least 20 points in four straight games. The superstar center also dished out a game high in assists en route to his sixth consecutive game with a double-double or better to start the season. The three-time MVP was a major contributor on the defensive end as well, notching game highs in steals and blocks.

 The Scoop: Randle posted his first triple-double of the season, setting season highs in rebounds and assists. He wasn't quite as effective as a scorer in this one, but he still managed to near the 20-point threshold by regularly getting to the charity stripe. The Kentucky product is averaging 27.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 steals over his last five games.

 The Scoop: Thompson was a non-factor yet again, scoring in single digits for the fourth time in the past six games. The term 'washed' is thrown around a lot in the NBA, but in this instance, we may have reached that point in Thompson's career. Despite starting every game thus far, he is averaging just 8.1 points and 1.6 three-pointers in 20.2 minutes per contest.

 The Scoop: Holland saw some increased opportunity in this one with Tobias Harris (ankle) watching from the sidelines, and he had the hot hand early, leading the Pistons in scoring through the first half of action. This was a solid bounce-back performance for Holland, who was held to just two points on 1-of-5 shooting his last time out, so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep it going Wednesday with a favorable matchup against the Jazz.

 The Scoop: Reid turned in another strong night as a shooter and has totaled 39 points over his last two matchups. He's been locked in from downtown over this stretch, shooting 7-for-11 from deep. Reid has posted 16 or more points in four of his last five games.
