Immediately following the AAL Year 1 College Prospect Draft, each teams 2012-13 payroll is calculated along with their projected rookie draft class salaries, and the 2012-13 exceptions. If that total amount is above the 2012-13 salary cap threshold, those teams will receive both league exceptions. If that total is below the new salary cap threshold, then those teams will not recieve the 2012-13 exceptions.
