Hey when the NBA season starts....

Would anyone be interested in how our rosters would fair in a season by having a fantasy league with the teams we make... I for one would... I have never seen a offseason and a fantasy league all in one

no b/c we arent building fantasy rosters.  If we were zach randolph would be more valuable than dwight howard, but hes definitely not in this game.  Shawn Marion would be more valuable than kobe if it was a fantasy league.  And a guy like Devin Harris who has lots of value in the GM game would perform worse (stat-wise) than a guy like smush parker.

especially my players
i only got jrich, artest and dirk thats it
but the rest of my roster like bowen will suck
it dont work out man, then if that was the case
marion is the best player, kg is the best, you know
and it wont be fair

No the problem with your team is its not good period... u even said u were signing retired players like exel and sura just to put them on your team...
 
personly i think it would be tight to do... and i dont get your logic mojo.. marion kg would be valueable? well i mean duh there good.. your logic is saying damn i did a bad job this year so i wouldnt want to go thoughout a whole season of a bad roster

ok i think mojo was just trying to reinforce my point..

FANTASY basketball is all stats and numbers.  In the GM game people dont build their teams like that.  If they did Portland"s team would probably suck because his bench doenst have good stat guys.  But in the GM he probably has the best team.  Shawn Marion would probably be the most valuable guy in this game if it were a fantasy league.  But hes not even in the top 10 as far as value goes.  KG, kobe, lebron, wade, melo, amare, nash, etc.  They are all more valuable in this GM game but will not be as good in a fantasy league.

Do u see my point?  Zach Randolph puts up better numbers than Elton Brand.  But not 1 GM would trade Brand for Randolph straight up in this game.  Thats the point im trying to make.

I disagree with you benwallace3

You are building fantasy rosters in a way. People are trading to get the best players and besides, how many leagues have you been in where it"s 30 teams deep? That"s what makes it so interesting. Your not going to have stacked rosters like if it were a 10 team yahoo league. I think each team will have just as good a chance as the next team on any given night

cuz you got teams out there signing von wafer, lawrence roberts, i myself lol signing some rediculous players
if i were to make a fantasy roster id trade for kg this second
these arent fantasy teams, its like a different style of the game
its like the real NBA
